Hannah’s love for art is what took her to the University of Edinburgh to study History of Art. She has since focused on expanding her own practical work, inspired by the artists she has studied. After completing a painting course at Leith School of Art, she is now pursuing a career in painting by building on this current body of work. Her aim is to create artworks that bring joy and excitement to the viewer through the use of bright colours. Hannah’s choice of colour palettes stems from her background in art history, and in particular her research into the Scottish Colourists such as John Duncan Fergusson.
