This piece is an illustration which was created for and featured in issue 3 of little living room, 'mental health'. 
 
Gabriele Gikyte is an independent Lithuanian artist, now based in Edinburgh. She finished her studies at the Vilnius Academy of Arts where she studied graphics and printmaking. During her four years at the VAA she ventured broadly in many different types and styles of visual art. 
 
Nowadays, Gabriele explores a bold approach to ink drawing using a mind flow technique. Art has always been a coping mechanism and a self-therapy to her, yet in this period of her life she believes that engaging in a dialogue is a lot more important. Follow her online @gabi_gikart.
